FUSECO Forum 2023

Going Beyond 5G

The industry-oriented event mirrored the state of affairs for 5G, lessons learned from the initial 5G operator rollouts, and the standardization refocusing on non-public/campus networks.

Towards 6G – Drivers and State of Play – in her keynote “6G Drivers, Building a Sustainable Route to 6G”, our CEO Anita Döhler shared NGMN’s vision and design considerations for 6G, building on and extending beyond our existing 5G ecosystem, with the imperative need to deliver value to end-users and simplifying network operations.

NGMN issued three 6G publications: Vision & Drivers, Use Cases & Analysis, Requirements & Design Considerations, continuing now with the collaborative work on E2E requirements.
