TAICS

Taiwan Association of Information and Communication Standards (TAICS) is a non-governmental and non-profit standards development organization (SDO) founded in June 2015. The objectives of TAICS are to provide a platform connecting Taiwan industry, academia, and research, and to bridge between the local industry and global standard initiatives/organizations. TAICS focuses on Advanced Mobile Communication, Network Communication, Mobile Internet Device, Audiovisual Services and Communications, Network and Information Security, Testing and Certification, and Intelligent Green Buildings ICT.

The mission of TAICS:

  1. Consolidate all ICT stakeholders to synergize standardization affairs.
  2. Facilitate collaborative development of standards to meet Taiwanese industry needs.
  3. Assist our members to interact with/ participate in international standard-developing activities and forums.
  4. Recommend and adjust foreign standards for consideration Taiwan industries adoption; promote Taiwan-formulated standards to international.
