NGMN Cloud Native Enabling Future Telco Platforms Executive Summary v2.1

This document provides an executive summary for the analysis of the transformation towards Cloud Native in the main network domains of the Telco infrastructure. The goal is to define a holistic view on the Cloud Native transformation framed in an Edge Hybrid Cloud scenario. This transformation is mainly perceived by the Telcos as an important driver for internal optimization, cost savings and to speed up vertical solution. From a broader perspective, it is also an enabler, for the Telcos, to join a wider ecosystem where Telcos, technology suppliers, developers and Hyperscale Cloud Providers work together leveraging on their own specific and unique assets.
